Section A
Experiments
1.To establish current-voltage relationship
(ohm’s law) for a metallic conductor and find its resistance.
2. To find Resistance of a given wire by
using meter bridge and determine the specific resistance of its material.
3.To verify law of combination (Series /
Parallel ) of resistances using a meter bridge.
4. To compare emf of two given primary cells using potentiometer.
5.To determine internal resistance of a given
primary cell using potentiometer.
Activity
1.To measure resistance , voltage (AC / DC
) , current AC of a given circuit using multimeter .
2. To assemble the components of a given
electrical circuit.
3.To find current by measuring voltage across
a given resistor.
Section B
Experiments
1. To find the value of V for different
values of U in case of a concave mirror and find the focal length.
2.To find the focal length of convex lens
by plotting graph between U and V or 1/U and 1 /V.
3. To determine angle of minimum deviation
for a given prism by plotting graph between angle of incidence and angle of
deviation.
4.To determine refractive index of glass
slab using travelling microscope.
5. To draw input and output characteristics graph of NPN
/ PNP common Emitter transistor .
Activity
1.To find refractive index of water by using
a concave mirror.
2. To find refractive index of water by
using plane mirror and convex lens.
3.To observe refraction and lateral
deviation of a beam of light by using a glass slab.
